About me
I’m a competitive FIDE-rated chess player from India with over 11 years of experience in chess. I’m a 3-time Maharashtra State Champion and have represented India at international events including the World Youth and World Junior Championships. I enjoy working with ambitious players who want to improve their understanding of the game, not just memorize openings. My approach focuses on practical improvement, calculation, decision-making, and learning from your own games. I’ve also worked with students in a chess training camp and enjoy making lessons interactive, structured, and tailored to each player.

Teaching methodology
I believe improvement comes from understanding rather than memorization. My lessons are personalized to each player's level, goals, and playing style. We analyze your games to identify recurring weaknesses, then work on them through calculation, tactical exercises, positional concepts, opening preparation, and practical positions. I encourage students to find ideas independently before we discuss them together, developing stronger calculation and decision-making skills. For competitive players, I also incorporate tournament preparation, opponent analysis, and personalized opening files.
