TEAM AND LEADERBOARD: lichess.org/team/saturday-showdown-leagues

We are just starting to hold tournaments and are currently looking for strong, active clubs to ensure a high level of competition and large participation numbers. This month we are operating in test mode; as soon as the league gains recognition and positive feedback, we will introduce substantial cash prizes for the teams finishing in the top three places.

As for time controls, the following formats are set for the four Saturdays of the month: 1+0, 3+0, 2+1, and 3+2; if a month has five Saturdays, the fifth will be 5+0 (while the first four formats remain unchanged). A standings table will be maintained for each time control, and every three months a championship will take place featuring the top two teams (point leaders) from each format—8 teams in total. The winner of the championship will receive the title of SSL Quarterly Champion and the corresponding prizes.
