Winnend voordeel in het eindspel (1)

In an endgame these situations are fairly common:

  1. Both sides are so equal that you really do not know whether you want to have black or white (This can be a dead drawn position like K+R vs K+R, or a live position that will not need to be drawn like K+5p vs K+5p)
  2. One side is ahead but with simple defence the opponent kan avoid a loss (e.g. K+edge pawn vs K)
  3. One side is ahead, with perfect defence the opponent can hold a draw, but the attacker can practically not lose and can safely test the defences of black (of course colors may be reversed)

Now for situation 1 the only evaluation that makes sense is 0.00.
For situation 2, it is already less clear, the ideal evaluation should of course reflect that the position is not won for anyone, but perhaps it makes sense to reflect that one side could lose while the other could not, so perhaps 0.03 feels justified?
Then what would be the ideal evaluation for position 3? A purist might still say 0.00 is the only right answer, but I would rather have the engine guide me to a position like this than to a dead drawn position, or one where the roles are reversed. In the endgame it is clear that a 100 centipawns do not typically reflect a difference of 1 pawn as a difference of 1 averagely placed pawn would mean an absolute winning advantage in almost any endgame, so perhaps it is still reasonable to let "objectively equal but winnable endgames" to show something like +1? Effectively meaning "I would much rather have white than black"
